"Inner Peace!"

The always elusive inner peace!

Where to find it!

What is the requirement - whether to renunciate all property, all enjoyment, all pleasures and grab a pair of plain robes of yellow, saffron, white or any other color on your way to Himalayas .

Whether to shave the head and beard or grow them very long.

Whether make a pilgrimage, or do a heavy donations to this place or that.

Whether to eat only vegtarian, with no oil no salt no sugar and no spice, or whether to fast mostly.

Thankfully,  none of the essential, some of that not even required.

Inner peace comes to a healthy mind- I.e. A mind without issues presnt in a healthy body.

The first stage:
The first stage is a healthy body, without taking care of the body, all exercise,  pranayam and meditaion is fruitless. HALF of mental issue are arising out of the mechanisms of the body out of sync.

Requiremnets: very simple, 8 hrs sound sleep, 4-5 ltrs water,  moderate diet with everything in moderation even oil, salt and sugar, unless advised otherwise by doctors. Body needs everything esp vegetables, fruits,  dry fruits and non veg. Eat all that you like with variation and in moderation of quantity and richness. U can take multivitamin, multimineral supplements once in a while.

Second stage-

Mind chokefull of issues, fears and bad memories. Some of the issues with oneself and the rest with family, friends, boss, superiors, subordinates, neighbours, in fact everyone we know even the political leaders, other important people of past and presnt.

We start accumulating garbage in the mind soon after birth and keep pushing more and more through life. Results are obvious. Where will happiness and peace reside?

How will we be happy when we have grievances and judgements against everyone we know.

Solution- Acceptance,  reconciliation and forgiveness.
Accept yourself and people as they are.  Forgive yourself and others for being the way you and they are. Being human is about making mistakes and learning by them, self improvement. Also, most of the time, almost everyone is a potential friend waiting for a warm extended hand.

Forgive everyone that you know near, far, past, present everone,  by heart, in self interest.

Empty your mind of the garbage, and feel the lightness, relaxation and peacefulness immediately.

First time most difficult but become easy immediately. This is a continuos process as issues keeps accumulating as garbage in mind. Keep doing it once in a while.

Third stage- Compassion and positivity. 

Fourth stage- Self realization.

This is the progression. No shortcuts. Why not Start today.
