Friends we all know how the biggest problem with serious health issues is that mostly we only come to know about them when its already too late, ie when suddenly health deteriorates and the disease is already in advanced stage and then things take a dive for us.
Fortunately there are ways to plot our future health issues from our present health condition to a great extent by analysing the relevant vital stat and take corrective remedial action accordingly.
As per many researches like this study in Copenhagen (

The resting heart rate is perhaps the most accurate parameter to indicate diseases in developing stage inside our bodies.
However, it is peehaps also the most under rated vital stat.
Another report shows those who had a high-normal resting heart rate of 80 to 99 beats per minute (bpm) had a 40% shorter lifespan than those with a desirable heart rate of 60 to 69 bpm.
However, also reported is that "15 to 30 minutes of daily moderate exercise (such as brisk walking) could eliminate the increased mortality and reverse this life-span loss,"

Resting heart rate (or pulse rate) shows the status of oxygen demand-supply mechanism inside our body and a deviation in this indicates underlying problems (Abnormal demand or restricted supply) in Pulmonary system, respiratory system or unhealthy lifestyle etc and this can give birth to a 100 problems and diseases in medium and long term.
How to measure RHR?
Sit down or lay down for 3-4 minutes amd then Count ur pulse by yourslef or use a pulse oxymeter. Nowadays mobiles also act as oxymeter by downloading such apps, with fare accuracy.
What does the following signify for an adult:
Resting HR<70 Low stress, Overall good health
Resting HR : 70-80 , Possible dehydration, beginning of issues related to cholesterol, heart, breathing, blood pressure etc.
Resting HR: 80-90 Not good . Detailed health check up needed urgently.
Pregnancy: 80-90 is normal due to high oxygen demand by both bodies (mother and child)
How to ensure good health by RHR management?
#Monitor our RHR regularly,
#Even if sugar,BP etc are good the RHR should be also be kept in healthier side.
#If RHR very high, see doctor
#Do Yoga, sleep good ,drink sufficient water, Meditation very very helpful, positive thinking, balanced diet.
