Being a good me rather that a bad him!

In social circles, among co-workers, within friends we often get the feeling of lesser-ness compared to someone we highly appreciate. It may be his/her  behaviour, smartness, attitude, leadership or any other attribute that we appreciate and one may find oneself seriously wanting in that attribute per his own assessment.

However trying to be that person maybe a serious folly.
First of all no one has been sent empty hand to this world. We all r unique in our own ways. Even if we r unaware, we may posses unique skills, arts, ways and quirks of our own far surpassing many others.
Before getting introduce to computers at an age of 20, I never imagined I could be a near-wizard on them.
Similarly before climbing the stage or
Picking up a drawing book I never imagined I was so good in them.
So shun all fears, pick up things, fail in some and excel in some. Its worth it.
Also many of use feel as a misfit many a timed and underate self due to this alleged shortfall.
Trust me it's not a shortfall at all. All the great achievements of of human history have been mostly due to some misfit, some oddball, some idiosyncratic guy, rather than run of mill standard shape and size cool people.
So cherish ur oddness, it's ur out-of-box-Ness, ur originality that comes handy many a times and accomplishes where the "fit" ones fail one after other.

So, first no need of feeling smaller, we r just different.
Celebrate your you-Ness, after all there is only one of you in the whole damn world.

Secondly appreciate others, try to improve on ur shortfalls too, but don't ever try to be another copy of that person. That might turn out to be a fiasco as while two of that person might be excess, also in effort of becoming him/her u may turn out  to be neither u nor him.

So lets just identify our shortcomings, improve upon them, find our unique skills and excel in them and confidently take our place.

Becuase as we discussed used, its always far far better to be a Great version of self that being a poor copy of someone else.
